KCCA Building Plans Submission Check List

KCCA Application Form fully filled by Client, client’s contact (phone number). Copy of Land title(s). Search Statement within a period of three months from the date of issuance.Payment receipts (UGX 2,000,000-UGX 4,000,000). Old approved plan(s) for extensions and alterations or submission of as built drawings. From Drawings Office KCCA: One Recent Cadastral print. Two Topographical map. Survey report from a registered Surveyor (open boundaries, verify location and access, check encroachment, show road reserve).

Two Copies of Architectural Drawings stamped and signed by a registered & practicing Architect, Architect’s contact number, & Application forms. ARB Return Form (Architect’s Registration Board).Project Brief by project Architect. Structural application Certification form.

Two Copies of structural drawings stamped and signed by a registered & practicing Structural Engineer for storied building or structures such as Swimming pools, Retaining Walls etc. Engineer’s Contact number. Signed Structural calculations (additionally for high rise structures i.e. 6+ stories, include lateral loading design i.e. earthquake & wind. Geotechnical report for (1) Low rise 1-3.stories, in low lying areas (2) Low rise large development (3) Medium and high rise developments. Excavation plan (where required). Traffic Impact Mitigation plan. Structural Integrity report for extensions and alterations or submission of as built drawings. Environmental Impact Assessment report; Neighborhood Consent. Storm Water Management Plan. Mechanical drawings & Electrical drawings.

As Mapok Construction Limited, we handle the project design (drawings/plans) either with an in-house Architect or an established design partner/registered & practicing Architect, and registered & practicing Structural Engineer, it streamlines communication and helps speed up the construction process. You also have the option of using an Architect of your choice to work with (us) your General Contractor, the Architect/Structural Engineer should also be able to advise whether the soil texture is strong enough to carry the intended building.
